This weather station is located on Hill Rise above the town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire about 30kms to the north west of the City of Cambridge.

CAUTION: This station is situated in an urban location. There are no buildings within 45m of the sensors however the wind direction is likely to be influenced by turbulence and the temperatures slightly higher than would be experienced in open country.
The Anemometer is positioned as clear of ground level interference as possible and the temperature and humidity sensors are set at the standard 1.5m above ground level.
